The systems are manufactured by AEGIS Manufacturing, the dealers and customers are not aware of the AEGIS name, all references to the systems should be made using the Interscape Systems name. The Interscape systems are being supported through the MAI Canada's Product support group at 800/663-3913. Bruce Dobson is the primary Irvine contact for problems with this account. Problem resolution sequence: 1) The dealer/end user calls MAI Canada's Product Support (800/663-3913) 2) Canada's Product Support attempts to resolve the problem over the phone or makes a best guess hardware diagnosis. 3) If the problem requires hardware replacement or on-site support by an MAI CSE, Canada opens a call through Irvine dispatch under the Aegis customer name. The customer site where the work is to be done will be listed under the "F7 Notes". "Customers" may be dealers selling the Interscape system or end users, and may be offices or homes. 4) If parts are required, they will be shipped from Atlanta, Georga directly to the customer site. 5) Within 48 hours the MAI CSE must go on site to replace the parts and/or resolve the problem. 6) Defective parts are returned to MAI Philadelphia using the original packaging and pre-addressed FedEx 2nd Day Airbill included with the new part. 7) Call is closed out both through Irvine dispatch AND MAI Canada at 800/663-3913. NOTE: Motherboards are shipped without CPU or memory, these must be moved from the original PCBA, CPU's are in ZIF sockets, these have caused problems after PCBA replacement, if the system does not function after motherboard replacement reseat the CPU chip.
