VERSION 5.03 IS THE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE VERSION OF COMPAQ'S ADVANCED
DIAGNOSTICS. THE FOLLOWING ENHANCEMENTS HAVE BEEN ADDED:

80387 COPROCESSOR TESTING
MODEM TESTING - A modem direct connect test that allows testing of an internal
modem that is directly connected to another pc using one telephone cable.
PRINTER NOMENCLATURES - CHANGED FROM 0,1,2 TO LPT1, LPT2, LPT3.

       *** 30 Meg Format problem with Advanced Diagnostic 5.03 rev E ***

SYMPTOM/TEXT: If you have entered bad spots for the diagnostic to flag when it f
ormats the drive the format will fail.  To format the 30 Meg drive you can use C
ompaq Advanced Diagnostic  5.01 rev C or below, you can also use Sorbus PC777.
FIX: Compaq has released version 5.06 of Advanced Diagnostics. If this problem
shows up again, let me know since Compaq was not aware of it. Their suggestion
was to use conditional format. This is not always practicle. Use PC777 whenever
this problem occurs.
