SYMPTOM: REPLACEMENT HARD DISK DEFECTIVE FROM STOCK.                         

PROBLEM DETERMINATION:  The Smart Image using an internal 20 MB drive from
TEAC model MT-2ST Sorbus part number TD170035.

FIX: The complete model number on the TEAC should be MT-2ST/20B-32-U. The
part after the slash distinguishes the drive from the one used with the
UNsmart Image. Check the drive received from logistics for the complete model
number.
